XxFlaringFoxX chapter 5 . 6/19/2014 awesome I love these stories you made that kinda twists new and old elements. its amazing, ill be watching out for anymore of em great job XD |
Emmet Earwax chapter 5 . 7/9/2009 Well, I'm not sure at what point in the Sonic storyline this takes place, but the only mutation I know Sonic underwent was when he worked to return Knothole to its proper position in time after Robotnik fired the neutron annihilator (the one that erased him from existence, thanks to Snively !). The Lower Mobians suggested other underground peoples the Freedom Fighters helped (esp. in the silly days). Tho labelled a "tragedy" at least nobody got killed. It WAS interesting how the UNusual freedom fighters were misunderstood as mutants from a devastated surface. |
Paul R Wilson chapter 1 . 7/9/2009 I'll say it here instead of in the reviews of the prev. story. I knew how Sonic felt with his headaches: I've had headaches due to poison myself (a touch of food poisoning - meat that had been too long in the fridge- an allergic reaction to a store's house brand of diet soda). In fact, the morning of 7-9 when I read this story, I had a poison headache: it was, however, unfocused and gave up in an hour. |
Aaron M. Brandt chapter 5 . 2/22/2006 Good story (once again)... a little hard to follow in few spots, but I was able to quickly catch up with the story, so no big deal there. This story is approaching the length I like (long, but not long-winded, if you know what I mean). There's enough details to provide the reader with a mental picture of the areas and characters (which is something I still have to work on with mine). About the only complaint I can come up with is something that happened to me; the paragraph breaks (returns at the end of a sentence that moves the cursor to the next line) get interpreted as a double return so there ends up being an extra line between the end of a line and the beginning of the next one. But, yeah... great story! I hope you write more stories with this continuity. |
Ria cola chapter 1 . 7/14/2004 Wow was this story long, good job. |
Cookirini chapter 1 . 2/16/2004 Hmm! The Cathog stories caught my attention as I skimmed through stuff. I enjoyed reading all three of them, and it is an interesting spin on things. I do have a rather large complaint, however. No, its not about characterization. No, its not about using fifty billion different Sonic universes. Nope, it has to do with the chapters in the story - or lack thereof. Its very difficult to find your place in a 35,0 word document, especially when there's no indication of any relief of the end of a chapter in sight and you have to get off the Internet and then return later and look for where you last read. Words tend to melt into black things what people write chapters this long. And, there are places in the story where chapter breaks are plenty appropriate. But...other than that, keep up the good work, and I hope to see some more Cathog soon. :p |
Calypso chapter 1 . 12/18/2003 By God, I swore I would read this start to finish, and I'm glad I did. You did one awesome spin on the Lower Mobius plot point, coming up with a unique new interpretation. All the minor characters, from Kaitlyn to Kevin to Griff, were charming and interesting characters. And at the start, you did the hollow despair of the earthquake very well, especially with the missing Bunnie. I was reading pretty intensely at the start, wondering what happened to her, and when she got discovered, I kept wondering who or WHAT found her. That was one nice hook to reel the audiance in to your version of Lower Mobius. You get my vote, OC. Great job! |
