In books and movies pirates do speak differently to other people, but I've considered it a different language until I read this. It's an interesting concept.

Ha, this is hilarious! But whenever I try to say Jack's dialogue out loud, I get a Southern accent for some reason.

I really like this, it has a lot of good bits, very humorous and I really like the "Because ‘urricanes sounds stupid."

at times jack doesn't quite sound like himself. and Will has a similar problem, (although, from the movies he never really found a persona anyway). as you sead in the story it's not good to overuse terms like ar, but jack never says savvy even once.

petty complaint really, but the stories so good I had to nit pick. (Favs)

Funny, I liked it! I always snicker whenever I watch that scene and Will shouts 'Avast!' :D

This is pure gold! I love it, especially this line here: “Ar?” Comprehension dawned. “Oh, you mean ‘ar.’” Jack considered the matter. “Well, ‘ar’ is a funny one. One too many ‘ars’ and ye just sound silly, so ye got to pick an’ choose yer ‘ars’ with care. They can be used to great effect if ye know how. Ye followin’ all o’ this?”
