James is very OCC. He was only mean to those who were mean to him or his friends; I don’t think he’d be outright mean to Harry without any concrete reason. I can only think of him being a bit cautious and distrustful, but he was popular among the students for a reason. I think he was a nice guy to people in general, his rivalry-thing with Snape/the Slytherins aside.

I also think they wouldn’t be as condescending to Wormtail—that’s a bit clumsy of you. Maybe they would think lesser of him (which can be subtly implied) in academic and magical matters, but at the end of the day, he was chosen as Secret Keeper and was a trusted friend to James, Sirius and Remus. So tone it down a bit with the snide comments, alright?

Your overall characterisation of the Marauders is very... let’s just say, you obviously don’t know the characters that well. I really hope you improve in the future.

But the writing and grammar is really good, though. This story is not all that disastrous like some of these Time Travel fics are. It’s totally okay, even if I won’t continue reading.

Hey! I started reading your story today. Great set up. Though, marauders were in school in sixth year in 1976, did you write 1974 on purpose? I which case I'll find out later on. But if not.. Well I thought I'd point it out :)

Considering that this is your first one, it is very good because I have read some that aren't logical like how they don't change Harry's last name.

I loved this story!

I think that Remus demanding answers of Harry is very unreasonable and the fact Harry tells him everything is quite stupid. Remus apologizing for James and Sirius is laughable when what he is doing to Harry is worse, it's a complete invasion of privacy. I understand that harry slipped up about James being his father but when harry said that he couldn't tell Remus about the future I would think that Remus is smart enough to grasp why that is and not demand answers by threatening harry.
