Jsummers5 chapter 4 . 7/11 This Eric is little too creepy for me to continue in with. |
Suehunt1945gmai chapter 10 . 4/23 Story is very different. I've read so many, too many centered around the opera house. Like this more modern version. My one problem question is: I hope Erik Is not a vampire. |
Lily chapter 1 . 7/8/2019 If you ever do update chapters could I be the first to request one in Erik's POV? Your Erik is just too tempting! I love the story being in Christine's POV but I am dying to get a glimpse into what may have been going through his mind during any point of the story. Thank you for keeping this one posted and I hope you do update! What an awesome surprise that would be! |
Cran chapter 22 . 4/24/2019 I was among those who found this story waaay back when you first shared it on this website. (Wow, that makes me feel old!) I was young; I think around 15 or 16 at the time. I have to say you inadvertently set quite a standard for Erik, as a character, for me. (Aside from Gaston's original, of course.) I loved this story back when, and I never forgot it. I was grateful, even after the years passed, that I could still find it here...it always brought a smile back to my face whenever I felt a bout of nostalgia. As I've grown older, (now in my thirties...again yikes.), I still love this story but I see so much potential to explore moments that were left unexplored..and the what if scenarios are endless. I sometimes wonder about those 'what if's"-what if Christine's parents were not in the picture, or what if she was a singer whose voice played a significant role in Erik's obsession with her, what if Christine could not forgive Erik for basically murdering Ray, etc etc. Don't get me wrong-just because you strayed away from the traditional/other possible themes does not make it a bad story. I will admit I always felt a bit frustrated with how fast the climax went, and how unexplained Christine's decision to go with Erik was...it made Ray's death seem in vain...but then I realize perhaps you left it mysterious on purpose. (Then again, I am a Raoul/Ray sympathizer ;D) I am so excited to see that you may be updating chapters...that is awesome! I will wait on the edge of my seat. Thank you for such a wonderful story regardless of anything that may come or not! |
christina648 chapter 22 . 4/8/2018 love it . I like your Erik . |
NocturnesL chapter 22 . 12/14/2017 Hard to believe that she’s in love with him again, is she hypnotized again? |
blackwolf888 chapter 17 . 10/21/2016 After reading the unmasking scene I wanted to review and tell you that it was the best unmasking scene ever, but then... Then I read this chapter, and... I liked it even more. That's not a surprise, since this phanfic consistently gets better, darker and more interesting with each chapter. But still, something about this chapter made me want to review. It was so natural and so realistic, and I love how, even though I've been a hardcore Erik fan all my life, this fic actually makes me root for Ray. Man, I want to say more, but I'm lost for words, truly. After all, I bet that whatever I want to say has already been said in those 600-something reviews that came before me :p Great work, dear author. Thank you. :) |
fanfic authoress chapter 22 . 9/29/2016 HOLY CRAP THIS WAS REALLY GOOD & CREEPY, WELL DONE |
emmsy662 chapter 20 . 9/26/2016 WHAT?! |
Rainbow Pierrot chapter 22 . 6/3/2016 I loved every bit of this except the end. I feel like a lot was left out and it didnt really make sense. |
bluebirdlady chapter 22 . 2/20/2016 First of all, thank you for writing and sharing such a masterfully crafted POTO E/C story. So darkl and irresistible, absolutely enthralling. Your Erik is like a drug that instantly gets under one's skin and takes hold of one's psyche. It was painful to have to pause reading to attend to my daily mundane duties. I'd pay to have this in a book form to add to my collection. But I have to say that the ending is a disappointment. Sorry about being blunt but I love this story so much I have to put my true thoughts down for you to read. Two possibilities for the 'missing' part between Christine's hate for Erik and her forgiveness. First, he manipulated her using tricks. |
Silverblue60 chapter 22 . 1/7/2016 In the Epilogue: Erik raised his hand and brushed her cheek with his fingers, an affectionate gesture that seemed natural and yet so odd... I just can't shake the feeling... Is she mesmerized...? I've read this frightening, wonderful story more than once. Love it every time; it draws me in deeper and deeper. Thanks for a fine achievement! Silver |
Angelofmusic46 chapter 8 . 8/23/2015 Waaaaaaiiiiiiit... Was that the 2004 movie MOTN pose? Also, shipping. |
Angelofmusic46 chapter 1 . 8/23/2015 Thoughts running through my head: beneath a moonless sky... That song from the sequel. Creepy start, but bound to get better! |
Guesty chapter 22 . 6/20/2015 The whole time I read the epilogue all I could think about was the cat and the dog. :P |
