I don’t know if you’re even still on here or not, but I just needed someone to know that I have read this probably close to 10 times and I just love it so much and need to give you my unending gratitude at this piece of literature. Your portrayal of the characters is beautiful and I cry tears of joy every time I read it because it’s all just so beautiful. I seriously can’t think you enough for your work and I hope this story continues to amaze readers till the end of time. I know this is really late and that you might not even be active anymore, but this is an amazing story. I have read it at least 3 times. You portrayed the characters really well and pulled on my heartstrings. Tears and laughter were had in abundance. Good work.

I enjoyed reading this story and loved the idea that Aragorn being human was what allowed him to survive what an elf could not. About 6 months ago I discovered fanfiction. (I still haven't signed up yet obviously)
In that time I've read all the good stories in said fandom and recently had to move on. I remembered my long ago love for Lord of the Rings and how I was disappointed when I finished reading.
So I searched for an Aragorn fic (one of my favourites ;) who doesn't love him?) and found this little gem.

The descriptions of emotion and settings are on point and the mud fight ending killed me (in a good way XD)

I don't know if your reading this (considering I'm writing this in the next decade after it being published) but I feel like to not review would be disrespectful and conflict with how I felt reading this. That feeling is difficult to describe with words but I can assure you it's extremely positive.

Hi there. So, well, I'm writing this more than 10 years after you wrote this so I somehow doubt you will see it, but I just thought you deserved to know that your story made me cry. (In the best way) It is 2am as I write this so that may contribute but even so, there are not many pieces of fanfiction that can bring me to tears, and despite this story having been written in 2003 and I am currently typing this in 2015 I thought you deserved to know. :)
