I'm glad you made Anamaria stay in the story, she just randomly disappeared in he movies.

Of course I had to be listening to 'Can you feel the love tonight' while reading this chapter, which made the scene between Ana-maria and Jack in the beginning of the chapter so much more beautiful. Almost tear jerking, it made me want to cry but smile.

*sigh* if only good things didn't have to come to an end, if only they could go on forever.
But that is not reality, but reality is however that this is a great story! I love, love, LOVE this story, your style of writing is such that you give lots of detail, but you can do it in one or two sentences and not 'over-load' the reader.
I'm glad you didn't kill Jack, and I like how you've ended it so there can or cannot be a sequel (but a sequel would be a lot better _) and that everything is write for now.
Well, all good things must come to an end, so I guess this is the end of this, bye!

I liked this! Especially how Jack tried to stay his legendary self and not showing pain/weakness. I'm really fascinated by that whole 'legendary captain Sparrow' idea. And him talking to his Pearl... well what can I say. I talk to my car (oh well... it's my dad's car, but I am to one who is driving the most with it)... On bad days I even talk to my computer XD
But I think it's a perfectly normal reaction that Jack talks with his ship.

Now I'm REALLY curious for the sequel. I hope that they will meet Jones again. I really feel sorry for the poor guy. He will probably carry one hack of a guilty feeling along with him!
