Well done - it seems a little anticlimactic to type those words but you can't see me jumping up and down at the ending to this epic. I'm thrilled that it's finally finished and sad to know that it won't ever be added to. I realize that this fic was a major saga and must have been a true labor of love for you. I think you ended it on the right note though - hopeful, not with all of Angelboy's issues neatly tied up with a bow. Connor still has a long road ahead of him, however, with the help of his Hyperion family and friends he's got a shot at a real life without heroin. In the wake of our nation's current opioid crisis I've often thought back to your timely fic. When someone feels utterly hopeless it's no wonder they'll grab onto anything to take the pain - physical and/or emotional - away. Even if it's just for a few hours. I commend you for this story, it was entertaining, eye-opening, topical and most of all it tied into the Buffyverse's 'life is hell' truth. Thank you again for sharing your gift with those of us who are not writers. You truly don't know how much your fics mean to us. ~Shirl

Oh, how I love this story! It makes feel a thousand emotions each chapter, and that's a wonderful feeling. Your characterizations are still spot on, the actor's voices loud & clear as I read. The pacing is well drawn out, just as in real life - problems aren't solved with a finger snap. Or magicked away. I really can't wait to read more, but I will. I'm actually praying that you're still writing in the Buffy/Angel fandom. (The series have been off the air for so long now, but luckily they are being discovered by new fanfic writers in syndication.) Please update when and if you can, you're a fabulous storyteller!

Even unfinished this is superbly written... I like how you created your characters... This is the Buffy and Angel relationship I loved from the beginnings of BTVS. I hope you keep adding to it as I would love to keep reading more of your work. :)

I love this fic! You have everyone so very much in character. Joshua's a fun addition. Wesley's grown to be so mature. And he's a Watcher again! Hurray! I'm so glad to see him working with Faith and them actually making a good team, unlike the Sunnydale fiasco. And Spike as a de-facto Watcher.. priceless! Are you still working on this fic? I'd hate to see it abandoned. And Fred's death... I liked how in your version, she got to go out fighting. A Hole In the World was amazing, but there really wasn't much she could do...
