Let me just say that you are a great writer and I really liked this piece; its just that Sirius was my FAVORITE character and i had been trying to forget about him dying (tear, tear) and your story is going to make me cry again! lol..When i first read that part of Phoenix, i cried for so long. Thank goodness i was in my bedroom and not in a docter's office or something (that would have been extremely embarrasing). GREAT STORY!

Likewise, as her version made me disbelieving, this makes me sad... but as viable as any 'explanation' i have ever read.

Now, I don't think it's pathetic fangirl reaction at all. PFR is all those cheesy "bring back Sirius" fics that have no plot. Not that haven't started my fair share... Anyway, I thought this was actually quite nice, especially Remus's wishing to stay. It's a glimpse into how tiring his life as a werewolf really is. Very cool.
