wow.. i've had this as a favorite for a while, but never reviewed. i'm usually not for one-shots, but this is amazing! this is exactly how a one-shot should be: unhurried and not overly-detailed, yet memorable and powerful. though the plot to this is fairly simple, the ideas conveyed it in express an underlying plot; a history and a future. many times, writers will start from the beginning of it all and then rush the plot just to get to the "good stuff". i love how you've included all we need to know while only showing us a chapter of their story. thanks for this... it's lovely, really.

i had originally found this story on and i instantly fell in love. I, myself, am more of a DM/HG shipper, but this one was so beautiful, I just had to love it. It is definately an awesome FF, and it's going into my favs.
