Guest chapter 1 . 4/2/2019 Nurayy Ooops.. I don't have good control over this phone writing system. I meant logged* out and below* Sorry for this! :/ :) |
Nurayy chapter 1 . 4/1/2019 Oh I was loved out... The review just bello is mine :) |
Guest chapter 1 . 4/1/2019 I went back to read your very first LotR ff. And I liked it. I liked how the women would have wanted to fight. They should have fought. It broke my heart that they made the children fight instead. But I liked how you handled the situation, and the words Eowyn said to Leonor about their task to protect the children, the future. So nice you kept Haldir alive. He should not have die in that battle. And how they think the sleeping elves are dead. I would love to see Haldir handle the situation. Too funny... |
Hawaiichick chapter 1 . 3/2/2018 Loved getting to see this part of movie on a deeper level and with “extended scenes.” :) The bond between Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas is always a pleasure to read. I love that Aragorn is a bit of a mother hen towards Legolas and Gimli. :) My favorite thing about this though, is the Haldir is there to the end. :D |
wotumba1 chapter 1 . 5/12/2015 good story |
Archiril chapter 1 . 8/1/2013 This is great, as usual! I just would have one remark: don't copy so much from your previous work :) You are a wonderful writer, dare to rewrite scenes or summarize them :) For the rest, I absolutely loved the story again! :) |
sidjack chapter 1 . 4/30/2012 Excellent job! I loved the characters, you really nailed them all. Great behind the scenes action and interplay between everyone. Cannot wait to read more. sidh |
Estella chapter 1 . 7/3/2011 For being a novice, this was phenomenal. I love how you kept Halidir alive. After reading this story I am throughly satisfied, and pleased with it's length. Thank you for posting a complete story, though I would love a second chapter about the aftermath, and Halidir's reaction to the minstril & such. Keep up the great work. D |

CC.V.RG chapter 1 . 1/23/2011 Ah, very nice and satisfying! I love helms deep fics! |
SONofAPOLLOx chapter 1 . 8/2/2010 Excellent story. There were a couple minor mistakes but other than that, it was very interesting. |
djdjkdjksj chapter 1 . 8/18/2009 It's sad the boys had to be made to fight the battle. I hope that those boys were around 12 years old and not around 8 years old. |
Melissa chapter 1 . 11/11/2006 It may have been one of your first fanfics but believe me when I say I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. And you kept Haldir alive YAY! I loved the part about the people thinking the elves were dead when they were really sleeping. |
Kestreleris chapter 1 . 6/12/2006 Yay! Haldir's alive! Hmm...I noticed you using the word 'sauntered' again...to me, that word connotates a kind of slow swaggering gait-not something likely to be seen in a battle. ;) Ah ha, so that's how he found the rope. 8) I wondered why he didn't count the ones on the ladder in the movie. XD I'm glad you gave those waiting in the caves something to do. :) Great Eomer/Eowyn interaction. ON YOUR NOTE ABOUT THE WOMEN. I'm generally okay, in principle, about women being the protected ones, but when they armored up those little boys...well. In my own mind, I am convinced that several women less likely to be missed than Eowyn crossdressed and fought well in Helm's Deep. ;) |
Rutu chapter 1 . 12/30/2005 Wait a minute: this is seriously your first LotR fic! IT IS BRILLIANT! ! ! ! ! ! I'm putting it on my faves list and C2. . .wow, I love how you portrayed every character and didn't just focus on one or two. Have you ever thought of publishing? 'Cuz you would be able to. . . |
