this is good... keep writing...

It is good to know that Thranduil has a more playful side to his nature (and that he has mastered the art of foot-archery!)I enjoyed this chapter. It was thoughtful and well paced. The dialogue worked well and I liked the wry comments about Elrond's children. Very amusing!

Cool fic. It was really unique but really cool. I like to read *differnt* ones that aren't all slash and with a plot that resembles everybody else's. They get kind of boring. This one was so different it was truely spellbinding. I hope when I write my first fic I can be as good as you with plots and things! I think how you got the idea from the Bible was totaly cool. Maybe I'll try that long.

So Legolas is not mad at his dad no more and there's probably a better way to deal with the darkness sweeping over Mirkwood eh? Yes, I do think agree that Elorir and Elladan are far worst than Legolas... and Arwen... lol... well good chapter.. my fingers are frozen! I swear... no one in my house knows the words "turn up the heat!" Anywyas... another great chapter... Nice to see that things between Thranduil and Legolas are fixed up... Well.. update soon!

I loved this chapter. I'm glad that Legolas has forgiven his father. And I would love to know if Legolas gets any better with his lesson with his father helping him. I can't wait to read what happens next. Please post more of this story soon.

Good job. I think Legolas got over it a little fast-the forgiveness aspect could be expected, in that Legolas and thranduil, for a long time, have only had eachother, and legolas wants anything to have his Ada back. But elflings really bounce back! Bravo!

I loved that, "I make it a point to avoid his daughter whenever possible," lol. Good chapter ( afte the long wait!)

This is a good story. I can't wait for the next chapter. If you do a mailing list I wouldn't mind being on it. Also, where did you learn Sindarin and Quenya. Please tell me. I would love to learn, but I can't find anything.

I just loved the idea of Legolas trying to fire a bow using his feet. Damn flexible those elves, aren't they!

I also liked very much the image of the young Elf holding onto a scrap of fabric from his mother's gown. Very touching.

The confrontation between Thranduil and Legolas was, as I would expect, fiery and emotional. Well done! I particularly liked Thranduil telling his son that he would have killed himself without hesitation if that would have solved the problem.

How cute. I do think the story moved too quickly. It seemed too easy for Thranduil to reach that decision, somehow. His grief was not fleshed out, and I think the betrayal in Legolas' heart would be a bit stronger... the actual plot was also fast paced, but your writing is good nonetheless.
