Great story! Just love the plot and the character interaction, especially between Lucas and Lucas. I'm so glad that Lucas' future turned out for the best. The lieutenant Wolenczak future was sad and depressing, I would have been so disappointed if that was how the story ended. But younger Lucas is too optimistic to let that future happen. I especially like the end, where you decide to have Lucas leave the Seaquest, showed that he did a lot of growing up. Thanks for posting!

Wow. This was a heck of a story. From beginning to end you had me enraptured and intrigued by this fanfiction. The plot had great dynamics and the back and forth between Lucas and Lieutenant Wolenczak was genius. I'm was so excited to see where you took this story and basically all but eliminated the real third season. (The last season is so depressing and just messed up. Hudson drove me nuts.) The epilogue was amazing. I thought it was cute, heartfelt and very nicely written. It was so nice to see that the older Lucas of the new timeline was rather happy and go-lucky instead of the grouch of a Lieutenant the other version was.

Now I must implore and beg that you make a sequel. I know you said you wouldn’t but I know you want too. You know you want too. You really had something with this story and the sequel could go so many places and take so many twists and turns. I want to see the reunion between Bridger, the crew and the older Lucas! Just imagine how they would all react to see Lucas all grown up (and in a suit!), you know they would still treat him like a kid. The reunion between Bridger and Robert would be phenomenal to see as well. I would KILL to read a sequel, even if you didn’t update all that often (though faster updates tend to be awesome). Basically I’m trying to get you to write a sequel because it would be completely awesome and amazing and I’d read and review it in a heartbeat. I could keep rambling all day if I wanted too but I think I’ll end this here.

Well, to be honest I'm not sure what to make of this ending. I guess it makes sense that SeaQuest still 'had' to disappear, and therefore I guess it does make sense that Lucas left to stay behind. I should be happy... no war and stuff. It's just sad that he was 'ripped apart' from his old life so to speak. But it seems he's quite happy where he's now. At first I thought it was his kid! I was ready to squeal... (how embarrasing). But why is Robert the president? And why isn't he too happy his father's back?

Too bad you're not going to be the over excited person who's going to write a sequel I'd really like one. Oh boy oh boy would I ever! ;o) (It would fit the timeline you know: Two years writing, two years break and... now writing again)

Anyways, this was an amzing story! I really mean it! You're a great author with talent for narration and characterization. Thanks for all your effort, I'd a fantastic time reading this :o)

You can't be serious... what is this? Lucas being mad at the captain for leaving the crew behind in the 'original timeline' and now he's just going to leave himself? He has to know that nothing he does will bring about exactly the one future that he wants... argh... it makes me really mad somehow. *whine* I want him to stay!

I have to admit I was hoping for a little longer chat between Brdger and Lucas. Maybe some more in the next chapter? And I'm sorty depressed because the Lt. is just gone and we'll never know what became of him... he's Lucas after all. Poor, unhappy, hardened Lucas... *sniff*

That comment about having become a good soldier was really a low blow... poor Lucas. I can understand that he wants Wolenczak off the boat as fast as possible. But then again I feel incredibly sad for his older version. He finally got a little understanding out of the captain and it made him so happy... *sob* and really he didn't get anything since it's not 'his' captain. And if he really does get back to his time everybody will be dead and the captain probably still wont speak to him. But that future is not really possible anymore, is it? *bites on her nails*

Hate to say it, but this chapter was a little hard to read because you changed tenses a few times. You might wanna correct that if you got the time...

But I liked the conversation that Lucas and Wolenczak got to have and that Lucas actually got under his skin...!

I liked how Brody tried to take care of Lucas. I don't really agree with all he said to him - namely my thought being the same as Lucas', but at least he gave him hope that he actually doesn't have to become Lt. Wolenczak.

Cool "Lucas saves them all" scenario :o) Can't deny that I like those... but definitely and evil cliffhanger. Thank god I don't have to wait to find out what happens...

Aren't the two just adorable together? But seriously... every psychologist would be proud of you for having brought the two Lucases together and having them argue about what's right and what's wrong... I love it!

So you took Hudson out of the equation. Can't say I miss him much, but that definitely bolsters my hopes for a better outcome of the future. Because I'm not desperate enough yet to believe you're actually sending SeaQuest to it's doom...

I love how the tow Lucas's are arguing with each other... each embodying somthing they hate to think of being - or having been... Anyways, I hope they'll find a way to get out of there. Although your comment about "poor everyone else in the near future" isn't very encouraging...

How come they were suddenly untied when in the stinger? Well, but apart from that minor mistake (if it was one) this was a cool chapter! I really like the idea of having Stark return once more.

You really shocked me there by shooting Bridger though. He's not going to die, is he? But it's good to see the two timelines starting to differ so drastically already... makes one hope for a different future.
