43 months ago, two Terran human children came up with a stupid way to celebrate Hitler's 110th birthday.
That idea was Columbine.
I've looked at the tradegy at every possible angle, and have came to this conclusion: Terran humans are too careless with their lives.
Now, as a member of a species that has a average lifespan of over 5.3 million years, I know how precious life is. I have fathered over 1,0 children, and have had 13 of them killed in senseless violence. I feel that hate groups have corrupted Earth too much.
I am offering my condolences not only for Columbine, but for 9/11, for Columbia, for the War on Terrorism, and for all of the senseless acts of violence I've heard about over the 313 years I've been on Earth.
I used to think that only adults could be this cruel. Now I realize that cruelty knows no age limits.

Wow. That story had an awesome message, and a very inspiring plot. I hope that someone will see that who lives near Comlumbine and decided to leave their weapons at a memorial. As usual, great story!

That was realy good. Never stop writing. I cryed and my mom looked at me funny because I don't ever cry. I don't think I have every realy heard about the Columbine shooting, but this fic. has inspired me to find out more about it. I hope one day all humans can live up to Rachels note.

Yes, I'm reviewing again. Because this fic was the best one I know that deals with school shootings, and... you all know what happened at Santana High. I would just like to say that you're wrong, you have enormous writing talent, and that the first time I read this I almost cried. Despite the sappiness, this story has a real meaning to it, and that's what makes it linger in my mind, and why I came back to this story after another shooting. I love this story, from the beginning to the end, from Tobias's poem to Rachel's message to the dedication at the end. Thank you for writing this, Ruby. It's a gift to us all.
