I'm having trouble getting through this chapter. Ranma or Ran Greystar is currently commander of the home forces. How and why would he delegate while there is an active threat that his friend is going out to handle? I know its a Royal invitation from The Moon but doesn't Duty and the lives of people on Saturn still come first?

Now that I typed that I am going to try to get through the rest of the chapter.

How long is a while? The invitations in the prior chapter were in hand and Hotaru made it clear that they had to leave soon to get to the Ball at Luna in time. These last two chapters give a timing dissonance. And its really hard to get through these scenes for me because of it.

Interesting that Ranma seems to be able to feel the block/removed memories absence. Makes me wonder if he will sense the bracelet on Ukyo's wrist before she gets a chance to drop the disguise.

If you hung a lantern on the timing, either saying Hotaru got the Sol/Lunar month wrong or something it would help smooth out that stumbling point.

And now there is Taris Madok once again making it clear that the waking up on Saturn with Hotaru scene doesn't fit your earlier stated series of events. He us just now getting to the theater of operation, and Ran should already me at the Moon. So why is Ranma feeling like it has been too long since he last checked in? All of this makes the events feel like its wrong. How could that touching scene of understanding still have taken place looking at the sunrise on Saturn?

Admiral Kyle is a rebel sympathizer? And Madok is only worried who might overhear? Are they there to put down the Rebellion or join it?

So a council on Saturn countermanded the order. Might have been nice to hear that earlier or if either the Queen or princess had done so. As it stands why isn't Ran still in place as a central command element to ensure coordination of local fleet efforts? The whole timing of events this chapter is now at the level of giving me headaches.

Too bad there wasn't a chance to ask the Librarian for a private space to review the classified slate he was given. But considering the risks he listed is there anywhere in existence safe to read such things? You know without going to Setsuna to be moved out of reality sync or some such to have said privacy?

More than 11 years since the last revision note. Really hope you come back to this story some day. Quick summery of my complaints is you gave yourself too little time when Ranma was sent back to Saturn in which you have to do too much all at once.
