It is this chapter that makes this one of my favorite Star Wars stories.

I spent approximately one day reading this story from beginning to end; I began around midnight and finished the the next day. By the end of reading "Rebirth of the Light: The Years That Followed" alongside it's prequel and epilogue, I can assure you that I feel completely and utterly in awe, astonished, enlightened, over-joyed, and saddened. I'm a very picky reader, it's a particular flaw of mine that I'm kind of, sort of ashamed of. So, I was surprised when I realized that I read this all the way through. I've never done that before in all of my (nearly) eight years of reading online.

But, this was beyond amazing- beyond incredible. I'm so, so in love with your writing. This plot has always been my weakness. The occasional tale of Anakin's redemption, his endless love for Padmé (and in this case, the twins), his ties with Obi-Wan, and his past can easily make me weak at the knees. There were definitely quote-worthy moments (examples include Anakin's contemplation on self-worth and the impact the force had on this life and Obi-Wan's thoughts about on loving Sabé and wanting something like Anakin and Padmé). Not to mention, all the moments of subtle humor, familial reconciliation, romance, friendship, and adventure, and acceptance. This fanfiction literally has everything I could have ever wanted in a post-ROTS AU.

58 chapter of fun plot, character development, philosophical and political discussion. Bravo.

And yet. The true hero of the story is Boba Fett. I was surprised that after every chapter I was thinking "good job, BUT this is all due to Boba Fett!" Considering I am not a Boba Fett fan, this is surprising. Go Boba!

That was... astonishing. I don't even have the words to describe it. Soul-crushing. Utterly traumatic. Tangibly poignant. Fallible. Human.

I think I'll go lay down and stare at the ceiling for a while now.

That was incredible. Easily one of the most heart-wrenching scenes I have ever found in a fanfic, or any other story for that matter.

And you have now included Mara. The way you did it is very compelling. I think it's pretty safe to sat that I'm thoroughly hooked by this story for sure now. But where is it going, and where will it ultimately lead? I have absolutely no idea, and that's exactly what is so great about it.

Ok I know this is way later but I love love love your stories. I feel you do such a amazing job showing how every character feels and how they grow. Anyways just wanted to say I've read them atleast 3 times, and you have ruined other star wars fanfiction for me not that I'm complaining but I'll start reading then I'm back at your story reading my favorite parts. Im one of those people who don't wrote reviews but I just had to let you know I'm a huge huge fan love the stories wish it was cannon thank you for writing them

i keep seeing references to how old obi-wan is. he must be about 17-18 yrs younger than when he was with like. i am thinking he is about 37 or so right? he was anakin was 10 when he started training right? he is 25 now, so obi-wan must be about like i said 37 ish. just a thought. the story is good and was looking for some action.

Very nice way to finish your series, but not let it end! I have enjoyed reading this series, and rereading it since I wanted to review what happened. I really love the way you have created such a great AU with Anakin, Padme and Obi Wan, as well as Sabe being so close with one another. This is one of the best Redemption fics I have read, and I am looking forward to reading the start you have on the sequel now. Thank you for sharing your talent!

I'm really sorry that I won't be reading much more of this, but as a writer myself I know how GREAT it can be to see that one's work is done (especially if it's as awesome as your fic :)

I'll certainly read Glimpses of the Future and look forward to it.
