This story deserves far more reviews than it has - even if you don't continue it, thank you for what you have done. I love the mixture of action, humour and humanity on show.

What a pretty cliffhanger. The pretty suspence, the family drama, Ginny being fabulous, Harry being idiot...that makes one wonderfully awesome story.

Brilliantly written. Title a bit misleading, plot a bit slow, but brilliant.

Plot line a bit yellow: an absence of surroundings is jarring but expected from someone like Percy, single-minded as he was pre-war, possibly even post.

The character development is great, too.

Really hope you continue this. it's a great story! I really love Percy and Celia together!

I hope that you still plan to finish this story, as I have fallen in love with it! I love your portrayal of Percy. I love his friendship with Kingsley. I love that Ginny is back in Percy's life. I love Celia's opinions on Percy's family. I have always felt that a lot of the fault was the rest of the family and that Percy was always kinda unfairly painted as the bad guy.
I love it! Please continue!

It would have served Harry right if Percy had just erased his memory. Harry's acting like a spoiled little child that can't accept the word "no" and he needs to learn to mind his own business.

First, even if Percy didn't break into the Ministry he's probably more familiar with its layout and security protocols than Ginny. Second, did Ginny really expect him to answer differently?

Bleah. I hope you don't put Harry and Ginny together in this. My favorite thing about this fic is that Ginny seems to have escaped the black hole that is Harry Potter. Yeah she's friends with him, but she manages to live a life that doesn't revolve around him. She has her own friends, boyfriends, opinions, hobbies, social life, concerns, etc. I'd rather see her stay with Dean or start something with Nott/Kingsley/Neville/Draco Malfoy/completely random guy other than Harry at this point. (Just kidding about Draco. And Kingsley. (mostly)) The world doesn't revolve around Harry Potter. Ginny seems to realize this and that's good and healthy. Harry doesn't or he'd realize he had ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to have DEMANDED to go with her, when she was going to visit her brother. I think Ginny would have been better off letting him tell on her. Molly, at the very least, would probably have supported her choice to have a relationship with her brother. Ginny might have ended up with an escort to and from, but preventing Harry from manipulating her would have been worth the inconvenience. And if Harry is so controlling that he thinks he has any say in her relationships with her own family then Ginny needs to run screaming in the opposite direction and not even maintain a friendship with him. His belief that he has the right to tell her whom she can and cannot be friends with (Nott and the Slytherins) was warning enough, but now he DARES to interfere with her visit to her BROTHER. Run Ginny, run!

Also, nothing bad having happened to Ginny in Harry's presence was sheer dumb luck. (LOCKHART was the teacher he went to for help! Trelawney might even have been a better choice.)

Why didn't she give it Neville? He was her planned companion, not Harry.

Nor should it be. Percy is his own person he is entitled to have his own opinions, even if they conflict with his parents' opinons. And the twins should never been allowed to bully him the way they did.

I'm glad that you moved back to an intrigue at the end that had nothing to do with Harry. I rather wish you'd just left Harry out of the main plot. The main characters (Percy, Ginny, Kingsley, and Celia) are plenty for the story to revolve around without having any major plots focusing on Harry. One of the story's strong points is that we get to see how everyone else is dealing with the way things are. And I don't care if Harry ever respects Percy or Percy ever respects Harry. I do care if Percy ever makes up with his family. Why did we need to see Harry and Percy meet up again? Why was that given more time and attention than Percy meeting back up with his family? Why would Percy tell Harry anything about what he was doing with Luna and Neville? When planning to break into a building one generally doesn't go around announcing it to anyone who asks. Plus Percy shouldn't discuss his client's business without the permission of his client. And why, oh why, is Percy letting Harry manipulate and boss him around? Percy is older and smarter and doesn't owe Harry anything. The two were never even friends.

Also, I think it's a shame that Percy didn't get the job as a lounge singer. If he only sang a couple nights a week he could pull in some reliable income and he'd still have plenty of time for wacky hijinks. (Plus, it's a hilarious image. And can't you just picture Bill or Charlie or one of the twins taking a girl to some fancy club only to be gobsmacked when they see who the entertainment is.)

If you ever continue this, I really hope we get to see Percy fight some evil that has nothing to do with Voldemort. It's not like the rest of the evil in the world is on vacation just because Voldemort is around. Plus, some evil and unscrupulus individuals are probably using Voldemort and his minions' activities to cover there own tracks. "Well this person is in my way... so I'll kill them and then claim it was a Death Eater attack."

Also, I love how you show'd that Percy's boring details are important and necessary even if no one respects them.

I really hope you're still writing this story because the whole thing was fantastic! I never really liked Percy that much as a character, I think I just couldn't relate to him very well, but this story completely changes that. After I read this story twice, I ended up going back to the books and re-reading every scene with Percy in it. Your characterization of Percy is fantastic, Ginny is great, Harry is a bit emotional and moody, but he's good anyway. My favorite scenes are all the ones with Kingsley and Percy and/or the Weasley family interacting with each other. I'm not a huge fan of Celia, but for an OC, she's pretty good.

Anyway, I just really hope you're still writing this.
