Nice one shot. It's been ages since I've watched the Pretender though he wasn't the Sadist if I recall. That was Ms Parker if I recall correctly and only slightly.

I was just scanning through the reviews... I'm utterly shocked by that first person. Rolls Eyes. I don't blame you for moving to other sites.

I wasn't really thrilled with the ending at all. I can understand that Xander might have been far happier with his life and seeing Jarod's view points might give him another idea of everything. Its just watching the Pretender, I never felt that Jarod really felt responsible for saving those folks or the world or anything.

It just seemed something like a hobby like a more modern sherlock holmes except instead of the PI bit his evil counter parts have a vast semi-governmental organization hunting for him. He always seemed like he could have just slipped away into the wood work where the Centre wouldn't find him.

Actually, I don't think that an intel boost would change Xander as a character and with the Centre hunting him, he could hack or earn some cash to live rather nicely while doing the Pretender thing or demon hunter thing.

Flameworthy vs. praiseworthy: Undecided. Likely perminantly. I compleatly understand if you dont like the series, it's not for everyone, but when writing something good, it's best to choose something you like.

Wow. a pretender/buffy crossover. I hope there's more. But I still wonder, is Xander still Xander just with all of Jarod's Know-how. If so, why does he feel a need to do what jarod does? Has some part of jarod's being or personality slipped through as well? I really hope there's a sequel.

Hey Tenhawk, I hadn't checked the XZ for months, so this story was a bit of a suprise to me. I definately liked it though.

Please follow through on this . I'm begging you. This could be as good as you're Journeyverse series.
