I wasn't sure what to expect from the description, but it certainly wasn't something this beautiful and this haunting. Nothing could have prepared me for something this beautiful. It's one of those stories that makes the writer as they reread their own work. What really got me were the "somewhere" sections. You really know how to take out a girl's heart, you know that? Thank you for writing this.

This is, hands down, the most beautiful, heart-breaking story I've ever read.

I never really put much thought into the deaths of Serenity and Endymion since their story lasted so long, and that caused them to seem almost immortal. Of course, I'm not dense enough to think they wouldn't die eventually. Anyways, back to the actual review.

At the very beginning, I was confused about the format. I didn't realize the dividers signaled a shift between the AUs. I caught on though, so you must have done something right. And that's about it when it comes to constructive criticism. Now, for the praise.

Had I not been in a dorm room with thin walls, I would have been sobbing. I used 4 tissues total. Every divider brought on a new wave of hysterics and I very frequently found myself cursing the world for allowing something so tragically beautiful to exist.

I honestly don't know which story was more heart-wrenching. Probably Endymion's because of the waiting he had to do. Ahhh, but Serenity having to witness the deaths of the senshi! I can't decide.

I loved the repetition with the bedroom and how you frequently mentioned specific events from times past. It really brought a reminiscent tone to the piece. And dear lord, that ROSE. I died. So sad.

And how they only used Mamo-chan and Usako in private? Lovely. Don't even get me started on the morning tradition and their parting words. My tears have just dried up and I'd prefer not to run out of tissues (although I'm grateful for getting the chance to clear up my sinuses).

Longest review ever written.

It is heartbreaking, and I can't decide which story I loved most. You are a very talented writer and I'm only sorry I haven't discovered your stories sooner. Kudos to you for an amazing fic xo

This was by far the most heartwrenching yet most beautiful ending to lives of Queen Serenity and King Endymion. And even after death they still managed to find one another. I love it. This is an excellent story.
