awwww thats so sweet and you have just enough detail but im in action girl anyway it was good...

Chapter 1 was fantastic...one of my favorites. Good angst and final denouement with her actually accepting his comfort for once.

Chapter 2 is practically a nonsequitor. Kathryn asking for her crew's permission to date? Please. And Chakotay's proposal? Way too sudden and strange. While I would like to see them get married one day, I just don't see the things in this chapter happening...or is the point that finally admitting her love for her first officer changes her so that she's suddenly not the Kathryn we know? In which case this story is darker than I thought.

Yay! But you didn't end it with "And they lived happily ever after"... *pouts, then giggles* A thouroughly enjoyable read.

I really think this is a good story! There are some comma splices, but only a few... and the sentence structure is really good! Keep Writing!

Okay, kind and polite: very good, one spelling error- 'ready room', not 'read room'. Loved the story, please, please, please do the second part, I don't like to beg.

Why would he be smelling her hair? Seems strange to put that line in there, and why would that comfort her?

Also Chakotay was portrayed as extremely private, I doubt he'd make a public spectacle of himself in this manner. In fact all the characters seem out of character. Did you watch the show?

good so far, but will kathryn remember what happened later? somehow, i'm thinking that she won't. it will be nice to see her reaction to it when she wakes up, but i think that she's deny it. it's the stubborness in her.

Great story- please, please, please continue- I can't wait!
