I really liked the concept, but I think I will stop reading it now. Never a good thing to force an oc into the story where there is absolutely no need for one (abby). Kind of ruins it, which is sad because the first few chapters were good...

An open ending I suppose. How you can abandon such an awesome concept I will never know. It had a bit of everything in it, it was almost like I had to ask myself 'did this really happen few chapters ago?' Just because he moved passed it.

This is a very good story, and I do hope that you have the authors permission to be posting this. I wish that I could tell the author that I enjoyed their story. I also think that you should at least change the rating of this story to T. It was rather graphic and violent, and people should be warned about that before they read. Nevertheless I enjoyed the story immensely.

Superb story idea and beginning.

I don't know about you but I have kids. If you think that for one minute two grown men would leave a badly beaten and broken boy alone - a boy that they love - then there is something wrong with your reasoning abilities: or lack there-off.

Would you really wait for some one to give you permission to stop a severe beating on a young person. I wondered why the reviews were so low on this story. I have tried several times to read this story but can't get a pass chapter two.

I am sorry to say this - you must be very young and not have much life experience. All you had to do was have Sirius or Remus take Harry to Hogwarts adult would ever need permission to save a child from a beating.

Yes I have prevented a child from getting a beating and warned the father - that was 40 years ago - it is not a new concept. I stoped the beating in progress of another child (a six year old) and reported the father to the police; as well as inform the hospital staff.
