This was awesome. Just what I needed:)

No, didn't get the songs. A lot more philosophical than one would expect based on some of Saiyuki's eps. The serenity prayer is clearly recognizable. The story makes sense to me as a former philosophy minor & partial mythology addict. Haven't seen that much of said anime, so I'm probably one of the few who's happy it's not too show based. I like it.

Wow... I liked it. Sure, the characters were quite a bit OOC, but I still enjoyed this immensely. It had the feeling of a fairy tale, mixed with pieces of wisdom.

I would call this a "what-if"-story about Goku. Nothing that really happened, but "what if" it had happened? Also, well written, and easy to read.

Kyaa! I love this story! He's grown up, but still goku. it's too awesome. I love your stories.

Regardless of delicious breakfast foods, I loved this. I really loved the ending. And I want that sequel done! I imagined that you had a gap or silence of them embracing and Sanzo being completely out of character and being... tender. That's just what I imagined.

Oh my, this story is quite old. But if you have any intent to write a sequel, I will most certainly read it! I'm positive I would adore it, I love Goku's siblings!

You should totally write a sequel! This was so good, I was waiting for when Goku got back and he was all mature and sh**. I want to see the whole group with the new Goku! I wanna, I wanna, I wanna! Kay?

Definetly one of my favorite Saiyuki stories. It was absolutely perfect! The changing phases of Goku were superb! Great work!

I read this story a long, long time ago, and thought it was really good. One of the better Saiyuki fics I've come across. You mention at the beginning that Goku is way OOC, but I always just thought that was part of the point, wasn't it? Good story. )
