I like this. A lot. Please don't extend it or change it in any other way, that would destroy the wonderful feeling it envokes. The story seemed to bring to life the, for lack of a better word, feelings Clark has for Lex that are only hinted at in the show itself. I'd like to read this again and then, with your permission, archive it on my sight.

Nicely poetic writing. Reminds me of "The Time Machine," the part where he approaches the end of time. I liked the comparison of Lex to the green rocks, too - quite apt, all things considered.
