So well written and in character. I loooove your attention to detail of the setting and weaving it in with Tulio's thoughts. it's very like him yet decriptive enough for a FP fic. possibly one of the best written FP (first person) fics I've read for TRTED. wow I wish you would have written more and I know I'm wayyyy overdue but I had to give my thoughts on this masterpiece. I tip my hat to you you wonderful wonderful writer you.

I actually wrote the last review (as "elissabeth14") but today signed up for an account here because your story, almost singlehandedly, has inspired me to write El Dorado fanfic of my own. This story is absolutely wonderful. Thank you again, so much, for writing it. If you ever write more about these two in future, you have at least one very eager reader. :D

I know this was written ages ago but I'm a new reader and wanted to say that this story is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous, in fact. It's extremely poignant and really delves into Tulio's personality, as well as stays true to the other characters. I really liked how you made the ordeal with Cortez a turning point for Tulio - it was very specific and made a lot of sense, instead of just delving in with the assumption that one or both of them was already lusting after the other, so to speak. It really made sense in this context - coming out of an extremely emotional, trying experience. I wanted to hear more at the end! What did they talk about, what were they laughing about? I wanted more of the wonderful dialogue - after all, that's what made this film so great in the first place :)
