This read more like an outline to a story than an actual story. This has potential to be a decent fic if some effort is put in to it, flesh it out, everything seems so rushed that it reads like a summary, what I would get if I took a decent sized story and just skimmed through it.

You got it wrong. Kagome is a powerful priest ess but het son is demon because of her strong powers and sesshomaru being demon. When Rei wished to be like his kagome, he got her Miko powers but his demon powers remained. Kagome had the sense of a demon but she is not. That's a simile when he said she had senses like a demon. Not really making her demon. She is still Miko...if anything Rei is both his parents, power wise.
