Anon chapter 11 . 3/29/2010
Hi, loved the story!

I held my excitement from reading the first line to the last!

It also seemed to peak my interest in learning Japanese, I might in fact take a semester of it now cause of you, so thanks!

On final note, I liked the last few lines at the end, they reminded me of the last lines of Paradise Lost.

All right, so I finally finished reading this. I was watching Grey's Anatomy at the same time so I kept getting distracted. The first thing that I want to say, is you just might be the most brilliant person I have ever met; I mean, this story had Kouzumi, Sorato AND Takari! Do you know how amazing that is? Let me tell you. it's pretty darn well amazing. Usually the story get's corrupted with Taiora *glares* but you managed to make my day! Of course, when I read the summary, I was awfully confused. I didn't know that you had planned to incorporate characters from season 4 and thus spent a hell of a time trying to figure out what Kouzumi would mean for season 1&2. I thought it was some weird combination of Koushiro/Izzy and Mimi xP

Now I am plenty aware that this story was written years ago (therefor I am not even sure you still write/read fanfiction and/or use this account anymore and will thus receive my review) and you most likely have improved during the time but I will give my constructive criticism anyway. I think that you did a pretty good job actually. Your writing wasn't as complex and descriptive as it could have been and you also used I.M-ing lingo a lot of the time, but you still managed to keep my interest. As a writer, you have to remember that you are indeed writing a story and not talking to your friends on instant messenger. I noticed quite a few times when you used 'u' and put multiple ...s. Another thing that I might suggest is mainly just something for show. For example, use italics to represent the over annunciation of words instead of underlining them or capitalizing them. And as much as I actually looked forward to reading some of your humorous authors notes, they look unprofessional when they are placed in the middle of a story. You also should not demean yourself in said author's notes; saying stuff like "I was too lazy to look it up," is kind of annoying and makes it look like you don't really care about your writing. We don't want to know that you're lazy, we want to know that you're trying your hardest and doing everything in your power to be the best you can be! There were a few spelling mistakes and parts of sentences missing which is why I suggest you find a beta reader, but as my friend DtecnoKira says, everybody is bound to make a couple mistakes here and there. A beta reader will just help to catch those mistakes.

Now enough of the things that need improving, here are the things I loved:

The nicknames. I'm so glad that you managed to include all the cutesy little nicknames and even create some of your own. Even if it was only a couple of times, I'm so glad you fit "Teeks" and "Sor" and "Hika" into the story. It made me so glad!

The romance and fluff. Boy oh boy was there romance and fluff. This story was fluffier than a cloud made of cotton candy and marshmallows! But it wasn't an over-the-top-sickeningly-sweet-make-me-want-to-barf kind of fluffy, it was just regular, good ol' fluff and I liked it! Especially the Kouzumi fluff. That stuff was uber cute.

The humor. There wasn't exceedingly large amounts of it, but the parts that were funny, were funny. I'm reluctant to say that I forget the particular line, but there WAS one line that made me happy to hear. It was a common line, but a funny one nonetheless.

The pairings. Yes, once again I'd like to comment on the pairings. There wasn't a lot of Sorato much to my dismay, but as long as it wasn't Taiora, I'm plenty satisfied. And like I said above, the Kouzumi was amazing. The way that Kouji was always playing with Zoe's hair was too cute! :3 I just love them together! And of course, the Takari. I love how they were able to resume their relationship as soon as they first saw each other. It was a little weird (but endearing) that they kissed so much and still thought that the other person didn't like them, but as long as they got together in the end, that was all that mattered.

Tai's protectiveness. If there's anything I love about Tai, it's his macho, big brother belief that he needs to protect his little sister from any and all boys that come near her. I kind of wish he wouldn't have gotten over T.K and Kari's relationship as fast and would have butt into their make-out sessions more often, but what you did was fine.

So that's a lot of things to process I think D: But I just have a couple more things to say. I just wanted you to know, and maybe think about, the things I wish you would have done with this story (not that they particularly matter and you don't HAVE to do anything I say because this is your story). I wish that you would have included the gang more. Although Mimi is not even my fifth favorite Digimon character, strangely, I found myself missing her during this story. In fact, I found myself missing everybody. Even though I love Takari, I wish that there had been a little less of them and a bit more of everybody else (but only a little!). I also wish you would have included a little bit more Kouzumi. But like I said, it's your story and therefor it is up to you what you choose to incorporate into it.

Great job and I hope you're still writing!

MoD366 chapter 5 . 1/24/2008
I know this fic is old and you might be wiser by now and you might have improved your layout, because all these empty lines just suck.

But more importantly I hope you learned a little goegraphy since then, because I really had to lough for about 5 minutes when reading "flying half-way round the world" for a flight from Japan to Australia which is closer together as let's say Japan and America, and even that ain't "half-way round the world"...

But I guess this saying we have in Germany is just right... "God invented war to teach Americans about geography."
