Jackie POV was really nice, but it was Hyde's POV that really did me in! his contemplative thoughts as he witnessed his own process of falling in love with her were perfectly done! He knows it's dangerous but just can't help it. I especially loved the paragraph I quote, it's unique & moving. ' "What are you saying, Steven?" She asked. I knew she was going to stay the night even as I was rejecting the idea. If she stayed I was a goner. The thought terrified me. If you gave someone your heart they trampled over it. That's just the way things work for people like me. I was going to spend the night curled around her, brushing her hair away from her face and falling completely in love with her and then I would do nothing but wait for her to leave because happy ever afters only work for guys like Forman; the good guys.' |

| Kaye chapter 2 . 1/21/2004 I loved Jackie's POV but Hyde's was just in a class of it's own. You 'got' his voice so perfectly! Loved seeing how Jackie was just always on his mind, and I can so imagine this to be the Hyde we see on the show. Cannot wait to read more from you,Kaye :-) |
