Very good intelligence scene, combining the events of the canon plot with that of the Sentinels. It's not easy dealing with the Clans!

With the witty humor and amazing character interaction and dialogue, and great battle scenes besides, I can see why you're considered one of the giants of BattleTech fanfiction, Sentinel :) I'll keep chugging along and see what lies up ahead for Sheila!

Quite a scary fight against the Elementals. In a 'mech, they're flies; on foot, they're beasts! At least there's vulnerable flesh and blood under the armor, if you can reach it. I certainly enjoyed reading this battle!

A desperate battle for the Sentinel warriors, but they fight tough! That was a great move, using the fallen overpass as a shield and crushing a Puma by the side. The air of desperation and tension is well-captured here, and I am eager to read more and see how Mimi gets herself out of this one! Great opening chapter.

But I'm not familiar with the Shuriken mech. And it sounds like House Kurita to me. Heavy Mech? Dual PPCs, 4 autocannons, and LRMs, am I close?

Outstanding chapter. I carry a .44SPL. about 50% of the time, the rest I carry a 45ACP or a 45 LC. I really believe in bigger is better. I would carry a 9MM if that was all I had but I wouldn't feel right.

Fantastic story so far! I'm definitely enjoying the interaction between characters and the way that they're scrambling to come up with a way to counter. Just as with all good planning sessions, some ideas are not feasible at the moment, some ideas are good but need more develpment, and some ideas get picked to run with. Nice realism! Keep up the good work - I look forward to seeing more in the future!

Definitely fast action and great battle sequences. The situation's desperatness, if thats a word, could really be felt. And once again clan bad luck comes into play.

The only thing I can say is that I wish I knew a little more about the Sentinels and where they come from.

Why and how long have they been in service to Davion? Where do they come from? Who is there commander? I've only read the first chapter so I'm sure more info will come.

Umm... wow! I've never been a big fan of romance before, but this story is an exception... keep writing, keep writing! I so very much want to read more of this excellent story!
