MasterShaper chapter 1 . 12/8/2013 Now, this was an interesting one. I am once again reminded of the power complete strangers have over our lives, and even world history. Grammar was good, which is always a plus, although Cynthia's voice was somehow... different? The part with the milkshakes felt a little strange, but it might just be me. Good job on this one. |
Daniella Violet Moon chapter 1 . 9/24/2012 Years after publication, your story is amazing to me. Minor character stories are awesome! And I love how one act of random kindness saved the world! Well done Cynthia! DVM |
Newtinmpls chapter 1 . 8/28/2012 Very cool. Clever idea well executed. |
BabelFish42 chapter 1 . 8/12/2012 This is beautiful. No, really. I don't know if you're ever even on this site anymore, but I hope you get a chance to hear this. I love this story, I love all of your writing. (I'm working my way through the Perspective right now.) You're one of the best writers I've seen on here. Thanks for sharing your work! |
kimjledford chapter 1 . 8/9/2012 Wow, I have not thought about that part of the story for a long time. The seemingly random details-where she was from, why they were traveling, where they were sitting, and why-add plausibility to the story and make it relate-able. Plus tackling philosophical issues makes this a good story. |
Amanthya chapter 1 . 9/25/2011 Amazing. Simple. Meaningful. Deep. Those thoughts came to me when I finished reading. I will surely find myself re-reading this fic. It's profound, really, b/c how often do we do things that effect others so hugely, and we don't even know it, or realize it till way later? I like that she's not a fame-seeker, but she still got to hear of their appreciation, and that it changed her life for the better. |
Animal rights chapter 1 . 10/28/2009 Aw. And that's so true, every little act of kindness can have a big inpact. |
tigerseatbabies chapter 1 . 9/29/2009 chocolate/banana anything is the best flavour ever...EVER |
Capramagus chapter 1 . 2/14/2006 That was a great story. "The Sickness" was one of the first books I read in the series, and one of my favorites. I guess there were a lot of people who unwittingly helped the war effort with their small acts of kindness- just like a little kindness can go a long way in the real world. Nice job! (ps- thanks for commenting on my story.) |
Quillian chapter 1 . 7/19/2005 Yeah, I like this story. :) |
powertrash chapter 1 . 6/29/2005 Amazing! I've always wondered about these "minor characters" and how they react to knowing that they helped or were helped by the Animorphs later on. Would you consider doing more one shots like this? It's a really neat idea. |
Cortana49 chapter 1 . 2/20/2005 Sweet little story. :) |
Malathyne chapter 1 . 7/14/2004 Oh em gee, you so rule. 3 - Very well done. It makes you really appreciate the little things that you do every once and a while. "That honor belonged to the Yeerks." Humm... Actually, it was the Skrit Na, but I suppose that most of Earth wouldn't know about them. ~ All and all, uberly-well-done. Keep up the good work~! |
Birdie num num chapter 1 . 4/15/2004 Hey! Just read this story of yours! It rocks! It's really sweet! Write on! |
Tabatha chapter 1 . 4/9/2004 cool, very cool. I never thought of things like that. Thanks |
