Wow talk about being an Insensitive prick. Not only did he not realise it was their anniversary but he also didn't realise that she was in love with him. I mean if the thing in the alps made him realise that she wasn't for him then break up with her then not drag it on arsehole. Great chapter! Well that was a surprise for poor Hermione. I gotta say, I can understand how she would think that he was going to propose. How wonderful of him to drop that bomb on her after all of that as well! Not only did he not remember their “anniversary”, but he just dumped her, and had the gall to think she’d be really happy, or at least understanding about his reasons. He REALLY can’t read the whole optics of the situation.
This chapter doesn’t have even one mention of Harry in it,interestingly enough. I don’t usually see that in a Harmony fic! Girls represent! .
