I’m very glad that Mrs. Morris was there to prevent Lydia from ruining her life, even though she didn’t do it just for Lydia. I’m sorry she lived through the ruin her own sister Dorothea caused by eloping with a scoundrel like Lydia tried to do, heedless of the dangers. |
