Brava!
snapify52 chapter 1 . 7/30
Poor Mrs Morris! Too bad her good-for-nothing sister was such a scoundrel, but good on Mrs Morris for saving Lydia's sisters. I wonder how this would change Lizzy and Darcy's time together...

Zoebabe579 chapter 1 . 7/29
Terrific story. So much backstory is evident without excessive description. I do wish we could see the downstream effects. Does anyone take Lydia in hand, making her realize the consequences of her selfish actions and what a lucky escape she had. I have this image of Lydia coming back in a number of years to thank and apologize to Mrs. Morris. Ah well, not sure how probable that would be.

Thank you for writing this story. I enjoyed reading it very much. I’m very glad that Mrs. Morris was there to prevent Lydia from ruining her life, even though she didn’t do it just for Lydia. I’m sorry she lived through the ruin her own sister Dorothea caused by eloping with a scoundrel like Lydia tried to do, heedless of the dangers.
