mrsfizzle chapter 1 . 7/25
Oh man, this was such a Smallville thing though—bring in a character for one or two episodes, have them forge a really strong connection to the main characters, then kill them off and have everyone immediately forget they ever existed. Similarly, in half the episodes in the early seasons, some stranger, villain, or other guest star would learn Clark's secret, then they'd be forgotten by the next episode (and he'd be back to panicking over whether he could possibly survive if his most trusted friends ever found out...). Alicia managed to fall into both of these categories.

This was well written. Thanks for sharing!

I don't even think Kyla had a mention of her death either after she practically faded away. But holy Beanpole, Batman! I absolutely loved this!

Oh, Alicia Baker. How miss her. I still do. Her death broke my heart, and seeing Clark's agony over her death broke it even further. I hate the writers for not even making a mention of Alicia after her death, and the last time her name came up was in Season 5 Episode 2 Mortal, where Clark said he never loved Alicia, which is BS. This one shot is beautiful in a sense, especially when we remember the fact that the only people that stood beside Clark when he grieved for Alicia were Chloe Sullivan and Lois Lane. Still disappointed with Jonathan and Martha to this day, mad with Lana, glad Karma came for Jason, and still outraged that Tim Wescott is still alive, as he's the man that murdered Alicia, almost driving Clark to kill the psychopathic sandman if not for Lois to stop him.
Aragorn II Elessar chapter 1 . 7/25
Nice one-shot and glad I inspired some of it.

Yes, it was annoying how Alicia faded into the background and was only brought up so that Clark could say he never loved her to dote on Lana *Grunts*

Good to see her here.

No kidding on Jor-El. With that behavior, its no wonder Clark took so long to come to terms with his destiny.

And that behavior, combined with Terence Stamp voicing him, gave rise to many theories that it was actually Zod posing as Jor-El, till it was shown he actually is Jor-El.

Nice job.
