This is a really good backstory! It seems realistic, and makes Beck using it against her in the first breakup episode sting even more.

I know that the show's whole schtick about Bade was "look at Jade, the cold unfeeling bitch got her boyfriend lemonade for his birthday!" but I'd always suspected there was something deeper to the lemonade story. Really well-written, great job!

Nice. I especially like the little touch of Jade's withering glance not being so withering when used on her father, it's a revealing character observation.

One thing, and this may be unavoidable, a number of the idioms and such you use are not common here in the U.S. Just one example, Jade would never say "crisps," she'd say "chips" (and of course what you consider chips we consider fries, but that's neither here nor there).

I loved this! Good explanation for the can of lemonade.
