Nice story. I like it as a sequal. Personally I had hoped you would jump back and forth between Kanan waking up and his memories/nightmares about what happened. Anyway I still say it is a good story and your niece has tallent. I hope you will write a last story where Kanan has the talk with Ezra about his second imprissonment in the hands of the empire. It would make a sort of nice 3 parter.
