Well, the writing is top notch so far, a bit too early to decide on the overall pace and direction of the story though. The one thing I have doubts about, and this is purely subjective, is the romance focus. I'm more of a action/adventure/emotional (in non-romantic ways) kind of guy but I'll follow this story to see where it goes.

neither. he is simply a concept. similar to truth i'd imagine or an example the infinity stones a concept given form so not a god, but i'd imagine something more? mainly cause chaos has always existed its how things change.

Well the word god or demon is subjective. Traditionally gods are beings that can't die, and is Omni potent, omnipresent, and is all knowing depending on their domains. Same with Demons. This is Chaos. Chaos is literally change itself. It's unpredictable, and can't be tracked. It can bring life, death, anything it wants.
