Best story ever

Well at least Clem didn't have to murder younger Clem to replace herself. I remember one time travel story over at AO3 that forced Clem to murder her still living self in the treehouse before Lee showed up. As much as I wish Clem could have interacted with her past self I am happy you did not go that route. So does AJ even know how a shower works?

Woo ... now explain what happened to young Clem ... but god.
The story is getting better and I am looking forward to Clementine's meeting with Lee, besides it will be interesting to see how AJ knows him.

Just started reading this story, I’m already invested! Good work so far!

Younger Clementine died...That does not make things look good for Lee's possible fate then. Lee might die of an infection due to the wound on his leg, he might not be able to get to the fence in time and get eaten, or he might have died in the car accident. I'm scared because this is an AU compared to the one we were used to and anything might have changed. Lee might not have gone to jail this time around, Lee's brother might have survived, Kenny was in Florida when this went down, Some of the infected can run, etc. I'm excited for this story but I'm scared at what could happen to all the characters we know.

Hyped! This chapter was even better than the first. Nice world building of Clem and her family, it never hurts to indulge in headcanon territory.

Forgot to leave a review here but this is an awesome first chapter! You hit all the emotional beats of each death, the set up to the wish was sad and beliavable, the wish that brings them to the past doesn't have to make sense to work in this story, so I think all around you've done a great job so far! Keep it up!

Wow the story looks very promising indeed. There will really be a change in the story with AJ and with a grown, mature Clementine, experienced in this apocalyptic world and with knowledge of the events that will happen will change everything.

I look forward to the next chapter with intrigue and emotion.

If you are wondering where the next chapter is, I think I'll use this chance to make it clear that I'm going to go at my own pace. My goal is to have a chapter out about once a week. I do have clear plans, but I don't want to stress over this and produce a chapter I'm not satisfied with or experience burnout.

I appreciate you all for reviewing, following, and favoriting and I'll respond to some real quick.

The first question I'll address is Darthcat13. I know that Clementine wasn't 18 at the end of canon, but I decided to timeskip a little. This was to establish the age dynamics I wanted for Clementine and AJ (specifically, making sure AJ wasn't too obviously suspicious).

As for Guest and Worker72, I'll all say is that everything will be revealed in time. One of them in the next chapter...and that's all the hint I'll leave for now.

Since A.J. is still not born, will there be two AJ’s. I could just imagine how A.J. would feel seeing himself come out of his mother yet he is like 10. Idk cool concept there are just some plot-holes that need to be addressed.

Hell. Yes. If I ever have money I'll pay you to write this story. This got me hyped.

Ah, another hard time travel reset and just as the last one appears to have dried up with gaming distraction. So does Clem and AJ get to meet younger Clem? It is a given that the two will meet Lee and the other Motor Inn characters but if young Clem is not in her treehouse right now we might not see her at all. Here is hoping this one stays nice and active for a good long while.
