What will happen next time

Good update. That conversation at the end is much better. Hermione boasting about her memorization of the books is very in character for her. Harry handled that really well too, simply dismissing her and telling her that memorization isn't everything and goading her. Much better. I think Hermione would still be in the library constantly and looking at other books. A great argument for Harry in the future would be about magical theory and how regurgitating information from the book doesn't mean you fully grasp a concept.

This story took a detour to cliche town. The ice queen thing is overdone and dumb. It's a fanfic creation that doesn't make any sense for an 11 year old and certainly wouldn't gain her a reputation two days into the school year. Smartest witch of her age, I can't tell you enough about how ridiculous this title is in general. Then for you to have her labeled as such two days into the school term is completely unrealistic. A) Who would be telling her that? They only just met her. B) How could anyone know who was the smartest person in a year two days into the school year? It's just silly and takes me right out of the story. She's even calling herself that. Too many stories have it in them and it's always unneeded. Don't be a copy, be original.

I find it hard to believe that Hermione would think she should be better at magic than Harry. Harry grew up in a wizarding home-surely that has to count for something. Being around magic your whole life would have to give you an edge over a Muggleborn student no matter how smart they may be. It may not be fair but likely true. I could never understand how Neville and Ron were so lame in the books. You'd think they would have picked up a thing or two from their families. I'd imagine most wizarding families would teach their kids how to do basic potion work. Ron had older brothers. Didn't they ever practice potions at home? A housewife like Molly would surely brew the basics for her family. I could picture the kids sitting in the kitchen helping in small ways. Like muggles baking Christmas cookies.

Liking this so far, nothing majorly new aside from the Potter grandparents being the
raisers, but new ideas are hard to do these days with the shear amount of stories on
here, but well written for the most part, the odd spelling mistake aside.

Do kinda hope Hermione has a relative redemption, once she sees some truths etc.

Ah Halloween, and all around bad luck charm for poor Harry. I can't wait to see how he handles this and Granger once again assumes that he must be cheating because of Dark magic when it could be that he and many others are simply better.

Geez, it seems to me to Hermoine Granger is jealous of Harry since he study magic very hard and she shouldn't hard on Harry since he's Daniel's brother. One day, karma will haunt them: Dumbledore, James, Lily, Order of the Phoenix, and Magical Britain will realize their biggest mistake that Daniel is a FALSE Boy-Who-Lived, but Harry is the TRUE Boy-Who-Lived. I wonder if Harry would approached by MI6 agents who are loyal to Her Majesty's Government and Queen Elizabeth II of House Windsor, they can offer Harry to be their undercover agent to know what's happening to the Ministry of Magic? I'll wait to read the next chapter.

Hermione has always been a complicated character for me. Yes she’s good and is brave but she can such a bitch sometimes. There will always be someone better than you , you don’t have to openly hate them.
