Fred and Velma cool

Awww, this is precious! It was really intriguing and then heartbreaking reading all of the backstory. Vincent's behavior in canon made so much sense and I love how you show how he changes. That one episode definitely makes more sense being moved to earlier on! I wonder if it was made earlier but aired later, like how The Persuaders! is all mixed up like that and you only see the beautiful development if you watch in production order.

The present-day is such a squeefest of wonderful friendship! I love the group coming to make sure he's okay, and him casting the protection spell (those ghosts have a lot of gall indeed!), and the scene with Fred and Velma on the phone. . . . I just adore the way Daphne is written. It's awesome seeing her being more than the damsel in distress! Her spunk reminds me a bit of Tea. Vincent drawing the parallels between her situation and his, and her quietly realizing the significance of two chairs, is a very powerful moment! Their whole confrontation and conversation was amazing!

You interspersed things with humor throughout (LOL, the scorpion), and also squee. The Scooby Snacks bit was so sweet! And I love the ending, with Vincent planning to go with them to California!

Such a lovely story all around! I definitely want to see more in this verse!
