| Antipodes chapter 6 . 7/29 Nice story, with an interesting twist on the returning clone plot. Can't say that the setting is original, but European people like me are suckers for ye old hidden monastery, just like the Americans for the secret Indian medicine ;). My main complaint is that, in your rush to deliver the story - and I thank you for your enthusiasm and determination there - you let things get a bit sketchy at times, like Nun Annie's character for instance, or grammar and spelling (Chapter 2 is the poster child for the latter two). And Chapter 5 is a mixed bag of rather rushed and sometimes half-baked explanations; though it is redeemed by a master stroke of genius: after the cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 4 and although we all figure out it's him after reading the first few paragraphs of Chapter 5, you wait till the very last (and pretty strong) sentence to write Michael's name. That is art! So, please continue writing: you can only get better. |
