   Bluenet13 chapter 1 . 7/22 This story is now one of my all-time faves and I loved everything about it. I always enjoy how you write Jason and Clay's father and son relationship and this story displayed all those feelings so well. Flashbacks are one of my favorite writing techniques and they worked incredibly well for this story. They helped paint the whole picture of how Jason and Clay's relationship has evolved and it gave us so many awesome glimpses into past moments of the show, filling in blanks with scenes that I would have loved to see on screen. I loved this whole fic but Clay admitting that Jason is his close-enough dad might be my favorite thing. So much that I'd love to see a second chapter to this, exploring how Clay feels about Jason. I also loved the ending and the image of the whole team descending on Jason's place to check on Clay, cause that's just how Bravo rolls; and this is probably my new favorite line: "call signs don't rank us in terms of our level of importance". Amazing job, thanks for writing and sharing! |
