A well done chapter. Nicely done with Midnight's point of view with watching the pair. It was interesting and amusing to read what she thought of the two as well as how she is an anime fan. I must agree that her previous costume is a mix of Kill La Kill and Gurren Lagann though when I looked it up. Nicely done with explaining all that took place during the exam as Izumi and Pony did wonderfully as a team and racking up villain and rescue points quite easily. It was amazing to read how Izumi turned her situation around and shot the debris falling towards them. It was an endearing and adorable scene to read with how Izumi and Pony were excited about their letters coming as well as being in the same class. It will be quite the interesting year at UA.

A well done story. Another interesting concept from you with Pony living with the Midoriya family due to Hisashi meeting the Tsunotori's over in America. Not to mention what Izumi's quirk is in this one. An interesting quirk that is for sure and quite versatile when trained. It was amusing and endearing to read how Pony and Izumi interact with one another as they continue getting to know one another. Their training was interesting as they use the beach as well as coming up with some Team Moves that have questionable but hilarious names. Their first meeting with Mirio and Tamaki was well done as it would seem they will be great friends since it would seem they have the same pair composition of energetic blondes and socially awkward best friends. It would be interesting to see an established pair this time around since the two know each other quite well and will continue to do so until the UA Exams, but it is up to you. Thank you. Sorry..but when I think guns and magical girls I can't help but think of that new series Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka..it's...not very sparkly..I call it "Magical girls for guys", the main girl uses a magical karambi knife to transform. I do like the idea you seem to be going for with the team of Pony and Izumi here as a kind of cowgirl team..also I'll take anything I can get with Pony since she's really underused in the fanfic space as a pairing for Izuku..she's either with Minoru or Melissa, or if she is with Izuku it's part of a harem. I don't mind harems but I'd like to see her get some more solo fics where it's just her and Izuku as a single pairing.

I look forward to more. And it’s interesting that Izumi will actually be going for a secret identity route.

Write which ever one you find works for you better. If you like writing a slower burn you can hold off and focus on building a foundation first between the two. If you wanna jump right into the relationship stuff then you can have them start dating and build the foundation while progressing their relationship. Either way I'm here for it!
