So sorry for not posting on every chapter. I have been remissed!

This chapter is showing slowly Katniss' feelings for Peeta are growing and keeping. She has kept her heart in a cage/behind a brick wall. She doesn't want to get hurt. Yet, love knows no barrier or cage. Love is blossoming between Peeta and Katniss.

I liked how Katniss had to learn to accept other people. She was very reluctant to open up with the people. She has had a hard life, but little by little she starts to open up. Peeta was the exception. I felt because her heart knew it would be different. Sometimes, it takes time and patience to see there is a whole new world and people can be good and kind.

Katniss made friends with Madge, and Marvel. I liked how she is confiding in them outside of her family especially Prim. She feels more at ease. Hope Madge doesn't get with Cato. I feel that he is showing her another side of him, but what he did to Katniss should cool and disabuse his feelings. And the cousin seems enamored with Madge. She is really sweet in this story. It goes to show how brothers can be different like Marvel and Cato.

Peeta is someone who sees Katniss as someone to love. They're attraction as each chapter unfolds shows them dancing a tango of give and take. Gale presence kinda open up Pandora's box on there, "relationship." Feelings were involved. Peeta thought Gale was more to Katniss. She had to explain his presence in her life and how Gale preposed. She didn't accept. Prim was right. She doesn't see people. I felt because she didn't feel the same way as Gale. The letter that Katniss received explained it to her but she still has his friendship. It will take time for Gale because he has to rework on his heart that Katniss is only a friend not someone more to him.

Now, Peeta knows about Gale. Another milestone breeched. She opened up to him. There friendships allowed them to talk more openly and freely. This chapter showed their attraction to each other is sizzling below the surface.

I loved how Peeta used his handkerchief to make a dress for Daisy's doll.

Great chapter! Peeta is playing it well by being so SLOW in romancing her, but I expect he's learned from Gale what doesn't work with Katniss. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I'm very glad Gale reached out, one less thing to weigh on her mind. She's gonna keep that dressing gown. And they're making a plant book!

What is going on with Cato and Madge? I can't wait to find out.
First time I actually felt sad for Gale in a fic when Katniss refused his offer - not that I wanted her to accept, but it seems as if she's moved on to better things.

There is nothing better than a jealous Katniss. Lol!

Much better ball this go around. Getting very concerned about this Cato/Madge situation.
