Couldn't agree more with 'Clinesterton Beademung'; this fic is like a long needed rain on the parched content of the fandom, especially for its eloquence.

I actually don't think you have any problems portraying Wolfie..all you really needed to show was his shock and awe at what Vash reveals about himself little by little.

Y'know, this little vignette is a welcome and pleasant surprise. Your writing is strong and confident, without the annoying spelling and grammatical errors too many writers on ffnet don't bother correcting.

My only real criticism is that although the story is told from Wolfwood's point of view, I don't get a *strong* sense of his character. But no matter; this minor shortcoming doesn't affect your careful description and scene-setting.
