| diamondnightskies chapter 1 . 7/6 Well, I honestly can't say I blame Hermione for not saying yes to dinner considering his thoughts are that he's not even that interested in her but wants to be able to prove that he's making an effort to change. That doesn't sound at all like romantic interest, so why not just ask her to chat over coffee or lunch? Why not just attempt being nicer every time he sees her, not just when he needs something? Theo talking about Draco finally "growing a pair" was a bit confusing to me because of that...it makes it sound like Draco is very interested in her, enough that his friends have noticed or that he's talked to them about it. But that's not how his thoughts feel. Was he in denial about how interested he was? That said, the ending was sweet. I like Draco as a healer and going to any lengths for his mother, and I always love a Hermione that will go out of her way to help someone for a good reason. |
