I've read many fics with the 'save Ace' plot. This is the most interesting that I've seen. Many go with the super happy ending and although I love them, this was refreshing. A remainder that, sometimes, despite the efforts, things never go as planned.

I love that you included Deuce and mentioned the Spade Pirates. Many forget about them. I feel terribly sad about the Whitebeards, they're my favorite crew. They cannot be blamed for not believing at first, but they also should have known better.

I cannot help but wonder what is Ace going to do now. I don't really see Ace joining the warlords though. I don't think that after Marineford, he would welcome orders from them. I imagined that perhaps a couple more of his old crew would leave Whitebeard and join him again when they learn he's not going back. As you can see, my imagination is running wild, and it's now thinking of all the things that could change in this timeline.

Anyway, thank you for sharing this story. It was wonderful, made me tear up a bit and left me hopeful and curious about the future of the story.

The heartbreak T_T...Can we at least get an Epilogue of him meeting Luffy in Paradise and getting his much needed hug and comfort from him? God knows I need it too lol. Can be less than 1000 words so you won't have to write much. Please?!

I've always said that I love your stories, but this one has made me feel uncomfortable. I like it, but it was awkward ... I don't even know how to explain the feeling, it was like stepping on toast. Anyway, thanks for writing! I love your ideas.
