Guest chapter 11 . 8/12 Well now, that was awkward, and ridiculously done. On top of that, no conversation of that magnitude should ever be done in one go and should have been started WELL in advance. Perhaps as early as the child discovers there is such a thing as boys and girls. Nothing is quite so horrifying for a boy to have a "boner" at age 9 at school in the middle of 25 classmates and a beautiful new teacher for no apparent reason and does not go away for a couple of hours. Dad had to give me a CRASH course in male anatomy to both our consternations. I was a single dad when my oldest daughter came to me in tears thinking she was going to die with breast cancer when a knot developed in one of her breasts. I had set her down and explained about he cycle at age 9. I had no clue about breast buds. A couple of years later she still hadn't started her cycle yet but I had a pretty good idea what was going on so I took her to her pediatrician as soon as possible. His wife who was one of his nurses joined us and she explained the process in terms a girl (with a 140 IQ) could understand. I made a true friend of my daughter, not just a doting Dad, that day and she helped lead her two younger sisters through the process. We all made it through un scarred emotionally, some how. You'd think a medical pro couple would have a better handle on the topic than a single dad/legal nurd. |
Guest chapter 4 . 8/12 First: I am enjoying your story. It seems well planned and it plugs many of the holes I find in JKR's stories. Next: It appears to me you are not native to an English speaking country. I STRONGLY suggest you get a good English grammar and composition text. Finally: Your story is so riddled wit grammar and construction mistakes it would a herculean task to beta it. I'm really not trying to throwing a wet blanket on your creative writing. I look foreword to seeing your English skills improve. English is a very difficult language, especially for the writer. There are many words and phrases that initially seem to mean the same, but their context determines which you should use. Punctuation and sentence organization is also critical to conveying your meaning. I practice law prior to my retirement for many years. Cases and millions of pounds, dollars, pesos, or which ever currency you are familiar with have been lost by a misplaced comma or the failure to properly end a sentence with the correct punctuation. While fiction writing is not that critical, my point is these mistakes are things that cause many to dismiss you as a serious writer. Failure to observe correct form should not discourage anyone from continuing your work. I hope you choose to correct these problems. |
ThePhoenixandtheDragon chapter 13 . 10h Discovered your storyline but wonder since you appear to favor the Marauders if you are Severus Snape friendly? I hope Severus can be a positive mentor, not painted only for his cranky personality. He is loyal, brave, cunning and brilliant (all the top qualities from each House), while Sirius attempted to murder him and the Marauders, James and Siris were rich Purebloods, attacked 4 on 1 a poor, abused halfblood boy. |
Guest chapter 12 . 8/9 Great update! Hermione should have taken the initiative and just sat on his lap anyway. I would have loved to read about everyone’s reactions to that!:) also yay no love potions!:) |
Guest chapter 11 . 8/6 Great job! But i want more romance please. We need harry/hermione romance. Also does sirius get a girlfriend/wife? |
Stephanie MRV chapter 11 . 8/8 Man. The whole family is fucked up |
Stephanie MRV chapter 8 . 8/7 wow molly. Just wow |
Stephanie MRV chapter 7 . 8/7 what the fuck. "Im going to marry Harry Potter! " did you turn Hermione into ginny. Where the hell are her parents. They need to stop this. This is not okay Behavior. Ugh. They don't belong together. They both need serious maturity |
Stephanie MRV chapter 6 . 8/7 that bastard! How dare he use magic on them like that and steal their blood. Thank you for helping hermione. Her personality was awful as a young child. I hope she improves with time. |
Stephanie MRV chapter 5 . 8/7 Awwe. Hope your hermione learns to curve her mouth and think before she speaks |
Stephanie MRV chapter 4 . 8/7 Ohhhh. Things are about to get good. I hope they don't antagonize the malfoys more. They don't need an enemy. What about snape? Harry doesn't have her eyes anymore. Will that affect the relationship? Thank you for that kick to Dolores proposal. Yay Remus!? |
Stephanie MRV chapter 3 . 8/7 Oh yes! This is wonderful. They love him and accept him. I love that they do things to make petunia happy. She really did miss out on not having magic. I am so happy that you decided to do this |
Stephanie MRV chapter 1 . 8/7 Oh my god. I am completely for this plot. Oh please say that they still love him when they find out the truth. Biometrics? Thats odd |
ImmortalsDoItForever chapter 12 . 8/6 A very interesting if somewhat confusing story. Oh, and you made a mistake in the letter. Rowena is the ancestor, Damian is her descendant. I am enjoying the story, but it's sometimes hard to follow with names and titles changing so much, and different people knowing different parts of the truth. Wouldn't Dumbledore know that Harry Potter was gone, since the Hogwarts letter went to Damian, there shouldn't have been one for Harry. |
rellenh chapter 11 . 8/3 Not a bad story but this chapter isn't realistic. Also, please separate each person's dialogue; makes it easier to read and understand whom is saying what. |
