Was super excited to see this sequel, I actually recently went back to reread tournament arc not too long ago. You're just as good as keeping the tension and the emotions high as before. Loving it so far, and excited to see more.

Ren is supposed to "blow up" this coming season (I'm guessing at Jaune) I can't see it being better than this. Really good. "He...exploded" Was it Jaune? Is that how he got the scars?

So I'm guessing Jaune's been taken over by the Grimm. He's been infected somehow by that scar he got.

Is it possible that he's turning into a Grimm himself? Like a werewolf? or WereGrimm?

Is this a plot from Salem? To create Humanoid Grimm Hybrid soldiers and Jaune is the first test subject?

Is that what this island is? A trap to force more suffering out of them to push Jaune to the brink of transformation?

I love the story! I can’t wait to see what happens next in the chapter. Jaune abilities with his scars remind me of Deviljho from Monster hunter lol Keep up the excellent work.
