It is a pity that, so far, this story has only one follower: it deserves many readers. It is a well written, strikingly original tale involving several original characters, but one that carefully fits the Middle Earth canon.

The author has categorized it as Adventure and Romance. Well, the first two chapters have given us orcs and fighting; the third gives us a possible love interest: a new, enigmatic character with an ancient name; and the fourth brings in Third Age politics and intrigue, plus some insights into the lives of the immortal elves.
