| BrightsideDC chapter 1 . 7/3 In reading your stories, you have transported me to Greece, France, a small village in West Sussex, and even Vienna - its only natural that Italy would come next! As always you wrote both Harry and Hermione so well and the addition of Ron was a nice touch - he felt completely in character as I read the dialogue between he and Harry. While we were able to see Harry’s POV throughout this chapter, I’m very interested to see just how much the actions after the going away party affected Hermione herself - knowing her, I’m sure her mind is still going 100 mph. I really enjoyed this opening chapter and will selfishly say that I’m glad this idea took on a life of its own to stretch beyond a one-shot :). As always, thank you for sharing. |

| Gravacor1 chapter 1 . 7/3 I loved the story. Story does fit the song lyric. It’s funny, a longtime (35 year) friend of mine asked me the same question last year when we were in Florida together. Similar reasoning I was stupid and scared. Unlike Harry in this story it didn’t end as good. You captured the honest fear in trying to make the next step. The ending was perfect not a finale but merely a Segway into the next part of their life. While it isn’t the happy ever after it, it’s a promise of a chance with work and love. Great story. |
