I have to say, in my opinion, this is definitely one of the best RWBY fics I have ever read. You have not only gotten Blake's character (my favorite) down to a T, but you've also captured the members of team JNPR perfectly, as well as Weiss, Ruby & Yang for their brief appearances in chapter 2.

I really enjoyed the day-in-the-life aspect of the story, which is a rare treat among RWBY fics. Having Blake suspicious almost from the start, and having those suspicions strengthened throughout but always getting distracted before she can act on them, was a nice touch. I feel that this exactly how Blake would react in canon if she was suddenly thrust into spending time with JNPR.

I also like that there wasn't any unnecessary shipping slapped in for no good reason (as much as it would have been amusing if Blake had made a comment to Pyrrha about getting lost in Jaune's eyes). A nice fic about Blake learning to appreciate the friendships she's made, without the need for villains, battles or life-or-death situations, and with just the right amount of angsty inner turmoil.

Great story!

I must say damb. This is a really well written short story, I enjoy the way you write, it flows well. The characters feel almost perfect to canon (ish), the premise is simple but well done. It's a new favorite of mine!

I cant say I expected Blake’s reaction that things had been carefully planned by her teammates to keep her occupied. I guess I just expected her reaction to be more along the lines of being irritated by one of Yang’s pranks.
Which she was. In the long run. I honestly also liked the time her and Nora spent together, along with those 'irksome' times she decided to get involved.

And hey, if you got an Ozpin fic I’d definitely read it. I just love how ridiculous people write him to make him all-knowing of all the most private moments or make him some obsessed shipping master. Or prank master. Or just mourning the loss of his Maple mug.

Also I can’t tell if this thing is finished. Partly because I’m hoping there’s more, but oh well. Mark this as “Complete” if you’re done with it. Otherwise people might get the wrong idea.

I’m honestly surprised this story doesn’t have more reviews. It’s of excellent quality. Gets the characters down, makes every interaction feel believable and does so with wholesome grace. Generally I hate Blake as a character, but this story does a good job making clear the nature of her issues and because of that I can relate to her for once.

On top of this, your story highlights an something I’ve always found engaging and it’s JNPR’s group cohesion. They function as a family unit rather than merely a team of friends. This is a great way to play them, and highlights why they’d be able to stand at the sides of the powerhouse combo of team RWBY. More importantly though, it might serve as a much better foundation for healing that Blake needs than team RWBY. Sure they got her out of her shell, but JNPR has the compassion and know how to help Blake reconnect with society as a whole. Her own teammates, coupled with herself, are a bit too immature and self centered to manage such a feat.

Who knows how things during and after the Fall might have changed had this fic been cannon.

Also, you sly dog you, having Pyrrha hide what she sees in Jaune, only to lay bare a mega hint of it for Blake at the absolute perfect time. Now I’m not saying that I, an upstanding and pure soul, would dare ask of you to consider a little knightshade teasing sequel, playing with the idea of Blake getting a few more mega hints and how she reacts, while Pyrrha contends with the idea that she might have a rival in love after all, but with the quality of your story crafting, it would undeniably be a very engaging read.

On that note, I look forward to your next works.

It was really nice to see a story revolve around JNPR and their interactions with a member of Team RWBY, in this instance Blake. This is my sort of jam.

I can see where this is going based on the title and I love it. These interactions are absolutely adorable.

this is glorious. freakin' hilariously glorious. the concept of this story, the pacing and delivery. a few typos here and there i couldnt be bothered to remember. serioriously, i cant wait for more of this.
