SnowflakesandMozart chapter 1 . 7/16
This is an emotional slice of life for these two. The detail about Obi-Wan's hands shaking as he held them under his crossed arms is a wonderfully telling detail. I had never thought about what it means when he crosses his arms. I think the first part where they're at the Senate is the strongest section of this. You captured well Anakin's concern for his master and Obi-Wan's terror at public speaking. Nice job.

There were a couple of words I did notice: "His master's parlor was far too light..." The context makes it clear you don't mean Obi-Wan's sitting room but his skin or face. I'm guessing you meant "pallor," though that renders the phrase redundant since pallor means unhealthily pale. And about halfway through the story, there's a messed up homophone. Obi-Wan "wrestled to reign in" his emotions. That sort of "reign" means "to rule over" (like a king), while Anakin meant "to rein in" meaning "to draw or pull back" as with a horse. You probably knew that, and it's an error spell checking doesn't catch since "reign" is a real word. Anyway, I don't know if you'll find it worth the effort to fix these, but I did want you to know I noticed them and they slightly distracted me during the story.

Wow.
Obi-Wan really needed that. I always assumed that Obi-Wan would grow up like that, I mean, they’re Jedi! They don’t need to be told they matter!
Wrong.
I’m so glad Obi-Wan got this rare moment of love and friendship. Thank you.
